RPNY Tennis was launched by Roman Prokes and services top professional tennis players, as well as amateurs.
Backed by more than 20-years experience in the tennis industry, Roman has played an integral role on both the men’s and women’s tours since 1991. He has worked with such greats as John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova and many others.
In addition, RPNY Tennis has serviced the US Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams for a number of years.

The goal of RPNY Tennis is to provide the BEST customization services to professional and amateur alike at reasonable prices. Roman, and his team of racquet specialists, are available by appointment to evaluate your personal tennis equipment needs in order to enhance your game.
Through observation and the asking of key questions regarding your tennis game and ability, our certified racquet specialists will:
- assess which racquet frames best suit your style of play
- string your racquet on one of our state-of-the-art stringing machines after determining
which string and tension would best serve your needs
- instruct you as to the appropriate weight and balance for your new or current racquet
- analyze whether the grip size you are currently using is appropriate for your game style and hand size
- determine whether it would be beneficial to customize a grip based on the shape and size of your hand
Roman, and his team of specialists, will impact your tennis experience by:

The question has often been asked as to why the tennis industry has not followed the golf industry’s lead in customizing equipment.
