"I've been with CourtSense so long now that they know how I'm feeling. I don't need to tell them when to say things or when to back off and just make me feel comfortable before my matches which is really great!" – Christina McHale

To maximize the impact of our training methodology, CourtSense has some of the most technologically-advanced equipment available in tennis today.

  • Eight fixed cameras and two monitors on court enable our coaches to show students how they are performing from multiple angles (patent pending).

  • Dartfish is a state-of-the-art computer program used to analyze a player's technique, footwork, patterns of play and strategies. Having amassed a significant video library of professional tennis players, our students can compare slow-motion images of themselves with slow-motion recordings of top players while on the court. Since learning is enhanced through visual reference, Dartfish dramatically increases the effectiveness of our students' training.

  • The Playmate Ball Machine is capable of feeding friendly and varied balls to the beginner as well as serving 120-mile-per-hour balls to the advanced tournament player. The Playmate creates every spin imaginable, giving our students the opportunity to work on shots through accurate and realistic repetition. We have programmed hundreds of drills into the ball machine, customized to all levels of play. In addition, Playmate is equipped with Bluetooth technology allowing our coaches to change drills with a PDA. Remote access to the ball machine enables the coach to be on the same side of the net as the player, which is a tremendous advantage in teaching.

"Seeing myself (on the Dartfish) made all the difference. Now I know what I’m actually doing and where I need to make changes. Yeah!!”
– Ananda Cutter

"What I really like about this ball machine is that the coach is right next to me rather than on the other side of the court. Not only does he see clearly what I'm doing, but he can change the drill right on the spot. This ball machine is fun and I'm learning faster!"
– Rehana Uehling
