ANDRAS PUTYERA

Project Coordinator and Assistant to Director of Coaches

Born in Dunajska Streda, Slovakia.

A relatively late-comer to the sport, Andras started playing tennis at the age of fifteen. His work ethic, grit and dedication earned him a walk-on spot on Binghamton University’s tennis team before his eventual transfer to Nazareth College of Rochester where he was a two-time conference player of the year. After graduating with a degree in psychology and business administration, Andras worked in tennis, holding several roles within the industry. In 2012, he secured a graduate assistantship and received a dual master’s degree in International Sport Management from London Metropolitan University/SUNY Cortland. Prior to joining CourtSense, he worked for IMG at the Itau Open in Miami as a sponsorship coordinator and the International Tennis Federation, first as a development assistant for Wheelchair Tennis, and later on as content editor/research assistant for the coaches education department in Valencia, Spain. While at the ITF, Andras collaborated with some of the greatest minds in the sport as he helped in the management of their online educational platform, Tennis iCoach. During his time in Spain, he was also involved in the organization of several international conferences, workshops, and seminars. As a digital media and marketing enthusiast along with a passion for education, Andras provides a versatile skillset in coaching and administrative support to our team at CourtSense.
