CourtSense tennis training academy offers tennis summer camps options at three convenient locations: Tenafly Racquet Club, Bogota Racquet Club and Ramapo College in Mahwah.

Our Summer Tennis Camps can accommodate participants with all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, ages 5 – 18. Spend the summer with us, learn and refine skills, make new friends and love the process!

RAMAPO COLLEGE – Tennis Camp

Four One-Week Sessions (June 25 – July 20)

This tennis camp is for participants ages 7-18, from beginners to tournament level players.  Our world class staff provides comprehensive tennis instruction, along with fitness and mental strategy education, in a fun, supportive environment. Each day is also balanced out with coached singles and doubles play opportunities.  This camp offers a full day program and has an overnight option that includes fun evening activities supervised by a mature, well-trained staff.

  • Full mornings devoted to stroke instruction, drills, and fitness

  • Lunch provided in modern air-conditioned Ramapo cafeteria

  • Free time after lunch in well-equipped, air-conditioned, game room/lounge with indoor swim option

  • Full afternoons devoted to supervised singles and doubles instruction and match play

  • Last afternoon hour offers extra drill help, videotaping, and a singles challenge ladder

  • 4:1 Student to Coach Ratio

  • World Class, Mature, Tennis Teaching Professionals

  • Adult Supervision at All Times

DAY CAMP OPTION

Monday-Friday Drop off at 8:45am each day Lunch included Pick-up at 5:00pm each day

SLEEPAWAY OPTION

Monday-Friday Check-in Monday morning.  Check-out Friday afternoon.

Nine One-Week Sessions (June 25 – August 24)

COURTSENSE SUMMER KIDS CAMP has always offered the chance to pack a lot of training into each week.  For the player who plays once per week, the 15 hours of indoor training equate to nearly an entire season during the school year.   Players can feel the benefits of consistent, daily drills and play.  Once the players understand the process, we hope the immediate results will inspire them to seek the next level of tennis and fitness. Spend the summer with us, learn and refine skills, make new friends and love the process!

  • Half Day Indoor Camp | Monday through Friday

  • PLAYERS AGES 5-18

  • 2.5 hours of tennis and 30 mins of fitness daily

  • Air – Conditioned Facility

  • 8 Cushioned Hard Courts with LED lighting

HIGH PERFORMANCE TENNIS CAMP

Nine One-Week Sessions (June 25 – August 24)

This summer camp is geared towards High Performance Tournament and high level High School players. We have trained and currently are training players who have become ATP and WTA ranked players, U.S. Olympians, as well as many college scholarship athletes. Our international high performance coaches, in collaboration with our fitness staff and a sports psychologist, have developed a program that maximizes all our athletes’ strengths both on and off court. Our students have access to 32 outdoor and 15 indoor tennis courts, as well as to the revolutionary PlaySight smart court system.

  • Players ages 11 – 18 | Evaluation is required prior to enrollment

  • Full Day Camp | Monday through Friday

  • 10 hours of tennis training, 5 hours of fitness and 8 hours of match/point play

  • Full access to outdoor and indoor hard and clay courts

  • 3:1 Student-To-Coach Ratio

  • World class tennis teaching professional

  • Weekly dual matches with other academies

  • Mental toughness training

DIRECTOR OF COURTSENSE CAMP AT RAMAPO COLLEGE

CourtSense is pleased to announce that Ira Miller, the men’s and women’s tennis coach at NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology), will be directing the CourtSense Camps at Ramapo College. Coach Miller has been one of the most successful college coaches in the East for over 20 years, winning 17 conference championships. He has won 16 conference Coach of the Year awards and in 2012 was selected as the ITA Northeast Region Coach of the Year. Coach Miller is in the Hall of Fame at both Fairleigh Dickinson and Drew Universities and coached Yeshiva University to their first conference championship in any sport in 2014.

Outside of collegiate tennis, coach Miller has been a successful Eastern Section Zonal Coach, his team winning the gold in 2006. He also coached the U.S. junior team at the Pan American Maccabi Games in Mexico City, is a recipient of the ITA/USTA Campus Recreation Award, has been featured in numerous tennis publications, and has been directing successful summer camps for over 20 years.

DIRECTOR OF COURTSENSE CAMP AT TENAFLY RACQUET CLUB

Geoff Grant got his first ATP point at the age of 23 after graduating from Duke University in 1992 with a degree in political science and NCAA All-American honors in tennis. He proceeded to live in Tampa, Florida training with Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. Over an 8 year span Geoff battled his way up to a career high singles ranking of #109 in the world. His most inspired tennis came during his opportunities at the US Open, by far his favorite event. In 1997 Grant took two-time French Open champion “Guga” Kuerten to five sets in the first round. The following year he posted his career best Grand Slam result reaching the 3rd round with wins over Emilio Sanchez and Andrei Medvedev, finally losing a heartbreaking 5th set to Oliver Gross in front of a national TV audience on CBS.

In the juniors Grant was ranked top 10 in the US in both the 16 and 18 and under divisions. He was also number one in New England during the same periods. Having coached all levels and ages over a 10 year span, the former assistant manager at a large New York tennis facility is extremely happy to call Tenafly Racket Club (TRC) and CourtSense headquarters his home. Geoff is a key member of our team making sure that TRC, Alpine Country Club and Englewood Field Club runs smoothly, taking care of every detail ensuring CourtSense delivers an A+ product.  Geoff currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Bridget and little boy Owen.

OGNEN NIKOLOVSKI

DIRECTOR OF COURTSENSE CAMP AT BOGOTA RACQUET CLUB

Ogi, a former top junior from Yugoslavia came to the US in his senior high school year as an exchange student at the Memphis University School, in Memphis TN. After winning the team state championships in Tennessee, in 1992, he received a full athletic scholarship to Rollins College where he became an All-American, and also was captain of the #1-ranked team in Division II. He graduated with degrees in Economics and Business Administration. After college, Ogi, became a world-ranked singles and doubles player on the ATP tour, while serving as a player and captain for the Davis Cup team of Macedonia.

In the years following his retirement from competitive tennis, Ogi assumed the responsibilities as the national junior captain for Macedonia and later became Vice President of the Macedonian Tennis Federation, while he also owned and ran a prestigious tennis club in Macedonia for more than 10 years. In those 10 years he was the cornerstone of the success of the Macedonian Tennis, where a few of the players that he worked with ranked as high as top 5 in Europe and later established themselves as pro players. Ogi joined the CourtSense team in 2008 and with his education, passion, and rational thinking has become an instrumental player in the development of the CourtSense program.
