Rohan Goetzke began his tennis career in his home country of Australia at an early age. While pursuing an Engineering degree he continued his tennis and eventually left university to compete on the professional circuit in Australian and European tournaments. This experience led to a coaching opportunity in the early 1980’s in Belgium with a private tennis school and working regionally with the Belgian Federation.
In 1989, Rohan accepted a position with the Dutch Tennis Federation and worked on the professional tennis tour with a number of talented players. From 1992-2003, he worked with Richard Krajicek who rose to a No. 4 world ranking and won Wimbledon in 1996. Later, he worked with Mario Ancic who reached an ATP ranking of No. 17 (from No. 107). In October 2005, Rohan joined the Dutch Tennis Federation (KNLTB) as the National Head Coach. In 2007, Rohan became the Technical Director for the KNLTB where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the nation’s tennis program from the junior through the professional level.
In July 2012 until April 2019, Rohan held the role as the Director of Tennis at IMG Academy overseeing all aspects of the tennis program, ensuring delivery of the optimal training and highest level of development to each male and female tennis athlete at the junior, high school, postgraduate, collegiate and professional levels.
He has joined the CourtSense Team since January 2020, and we are honored to have him as part of the team.
